
Unfortunately, WAM does not need the approval of the residents of McMullen Valley. They only need the approval of our AZ State Legislature and they lean in support of the population centers of Central AZ and not rural AZ residents like us. WAM is a hungry hippo, chomping up water sources around the state for transport. What we can do now is first to sign our petition and let our legislators know what we think. Second is to write and call our representatives to encourage them to stop this bill. This is an important step, since we need to stop and delay this legislation so we can take the next step to secure our water.
